Magnificent Majorca

Matthew and I decided to take a trip together to see how we would travel together. As I started planning I wasn’t sure where I wanted to go. Between beaches, mountains, Mexico and Europe, I really couldn’t make up my mind. I have an irrational fear of missing out which makes it really hard to decide on a destination. After bouncing around a few continents, flights to Spain went on sale. I travel better in a contained space, like an island for instance and this is how we ended up in Majorca. It is truly a gem. Out in the middle of the Mediterranean, it sits between Ibiza and Menorca. Surrounded by the most mesmerizing blue water I have ever seen.

We started our trip in Port de Soller then made our way around the island to Palma. The one thing I did know about Spain was that the food would be phenomenal, and I was right. Extreme decadence comes to life in Spain. We found ourselves lost in the quaint cities of Valledemossa, Deia, Arta, and Capdepera. We sat on the beaches of Es Trenc, Cala Gat, Cala Mesquida, Playa de Formentor and Playa de Muro. It was the perfect mix of beaches, mountains, and cities for us. I even tried to get Matthew to agree to go back for our honeymoon, but he wasn’t having it.

It’s hard for me to put my trips into words, I am much better at photographs. I am so excited to share these from our trip. I look at these pictures and realize how vast our world is. There are so many beautiful places to be seen with such little time to see them. I am just creating a snippet of what the world truly has to offer.
