Once we are a couple of weeks out from your big day, we can start going over the details and how you both want your day to flow. I like to make sure there is a little room for soaking in the moments of joy and never want you to feel rushed.
If you add a second photographer to your package this allows for my attention to be solely on you and the second photography to be solely focused on your partner. This helps with the getting ready portion of the day and getting different angles of your ceremony.
Be sure to have the rings, earrings, shoes, your dress, invitations, family heirlooms, and any other little details you would like photographed together in a spot for when I arrive. This allows for me to get started right away and not get behind.

Once you've signed your contract and booked me, hooray, now the real fun begins. If you are wanting an engagement or bridal session, I can help with finding a location that suits your vision. I like to get to know my couples over the course of their wedding to find out what's really important to them. It allows us all to be more comfortable with each other and establishes are certain amount of trust.

We can talk about your ceremony time and how you think you want it to look. You want to do a first look, great. If not, it's your day and you can do what you want and experience it how you want.

So you are ready to book your photographer. You've viewed my work and love what you've seen or you were recommended here by a friend. My favorite thing to do with potential new clients is to sit down over a coffee or beer (whichever you prefer) and talk about your day. If you have started booking your vendors for your big day, fantastic! I can help recommend vendors to make sure your day goes as smooth as butter! I want to know about what you and your fiancee want your wedding to look like and to know what is important to the both of you. After all, it's all about you and the love you share.

FAQ

Question 1 - How long have I been doing photography?

Question 2 - What equipment are you using?

I started dabbling in weddings in 2009, shooting my first wedding in December of 2010. It doesn't seem like I've been in the industry for over ten years, while working full time during the week. I am so grateful for everyone who has trusted me to document their day. It has definitely been a learning experience and I am so excited to learn more!

Although I am a strong believer that equipment doesn't matter, I know that is not the answer you want. I shoot Canon brand with a R6, 5D Mark VI, 5D Mark III, a 50mm 1.2, 35mm 1.4, 24-70mm 2.8, 85mm 1.8, 100mm 2.8.

Question 4 - What else can I expect from you on my wedding day?

Question 3 - What do you do when you aren't taking pictures?

You can expect me to be there for whatever you need. After all, I am your biggest cheerleader/hype girl that day. You need me to change your shoes for you? Done. You need me to get your bridesmaid and groomsmen in order and make sure they are paying attention? Done. You need someone that can sew a button onto a dress? Done.

I don't do photography full time, so I am usually at work. If I am not at work or taking pictures you can find me hanging out with my cute husband and corgis, going on some sort of vacation (or daydreaming about where we are going next), or going to concerts. I love to cook and eat and you can find me at one of our local sushi spots or filling up on chips and salsa!
